🚨 FLORES EARTHQUAKE, EAST NUSA TENGGARA (NTT)

A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck the Flores region, East Nusa Tenggara, on Saturday, 15 August 2026, accompanied by an early warning of potential tsunami.

GMIT, together with JAKOMKRIS PBI, PGI, church networks, and partners, continues to monitor the situation, coordinate response efforts, and identify the impacts and needs of affected communities.
